We want to extend our thanks to everyone who participated in and contributed to the benefit held for our good friend Billy Doherty who is serving in Iraq. There was an excellent turn out at Dee Dees for the benefit, our thanks goes out to everyone involved as well as all the troops serving our country.

Its been brought to our attention that "Minimum Wage" has not been available on interpunk.com . It appears this problem is being taken care of and the cd as well as the LP should be available soon through interpunk. Sorry for all the confusion.

Check back soon for more details on a few compilations that we contributed to which will be released this summer.

Thanks for all of your continued support

Bare with us were having some web glitches which is why we haven't been updating to much. Anyway dating back to March the shows with DKM were incredible. We had a blast in both NY and MD came close to spending the night in a NYC jail cell but the NYPD was nice enough to disregard the fact we were from Boston and let us off the hook. Easter was spent with the Dropkicks which was great due to the fact that none of us could be home with our families big thanks to those guys for everything. The bands we played with, everyone knows the Ducky Boys and as always they tore it up. If you haven't been out to see Brain Failure yet you don't know what you’re missing... Check them out they are here in the states for a while so make sure you see them when they hit your town its worth the price of admission. Incredible band and incredible people

We are in the process of booking some shows in and around Boston so hopefully we'll have our web issues resolved soon and we can update more often.

Thanks for all of your continued support

We are happy to announce we will be joining the Dropkick Murphys for two shows, also playing will be the Ducky Boys and Brain Failure. As for the April 9th show in New York we had to cancel. We want to thank Todd Radict and the Bloodstained Kings for helping book the show but unfortunately we are unable to play. We plan on making up the visit so stay tuned.

We want to send our thanks out to the Connecticut crew for putting up with us last weekend. If you weren't there for the show you missed a great night. Look for the Bloodshot Hooligans to be coming to Boston soon.

Some old news, but may be new to some, we’d like to thank the Street Dogs for inviting Jim and Tom to do a two song acoustic set at their cd release party for “Back to the world”. Also thanks to the Dents for inviting us down to play their Cd release party at the Abbey Lounge. If you haven’t picked up both the Street Dogs cd and the Dents cd your missing out on some great music.

Now for recent news we want to thank everyone for coming out this weekend to the Abbey Lounge for the Blue Bloods cd release party for “Death of a Salesmen” (this is a must have so get out there and buy it), and the debut of Club Felton (thanks to Johnny Shots and Gouthro)… We also want to thank all the bands from both nights, The Blue Bloods, Dimentia 13, Drago, Dying contest and the debut of Dangerous Mark Doherty’s band Boozefighter, for those of you who don’t know Mark sings Hell To Pay on our new release “Minimum Wage”. If you missed Boozefighters set at Club Felton you’ll be hearing from them soon, check back for details.

We are still building the site, we have a bunch of pictures that we are going to be adding soon as well as some live footage from Club Felton. We will also be adding merch to the merch section.

New album “Minimum Wage” being released on Rebellion Records(Holland)
12/27/04
In other news The Pug Uglies have reached a deal to release a full length on Rebellion Records (Holland). Due to some time constraints and the availability of “Go for Broke” we are adding 4 songs to the “Go for Broke” EP and renaming it “Minimum Wage”. The 4 songs consist of two very hard and hopefully never found early releases only now done right and two new songs never before recorded. All songs along with the “Go for Broke” tracks were recorded at the Outpost in Stoughton MA by none other than Jim Siegel. No word on an exact release date for the new full length but were looking towards a January release and a record release party to go along with it. The new Cd will be distributed through out the globe, where and how to purchase the cd will be made available when it is finalized so keep checking back for updates. Also recorded was a cover of the Johnny Cash song Folsom Prison Blues to be released on a compilation by Rebellion Records in the spring of 2005. More news to come so keep an eye on the site.

Thanks for all of your continued support.
